A dental practice in Nièvre is moving to a more modern, more spacious, more ecological and… in containers

A dental practice in Nièvre is preparing to move to . Currently in premises considered too narrow and difficult to access, dentists want something more “functional”.

“We are currently in premises designed for one practitioner. There are three of us,” says one of the members of the firm and project leader.
It would be an acquaintance of the dentists who has already built in containers near the sands of Olonne who gave them the idea. “We bought the land a year ago. We didn’t necessarily know where to go. But the company that was recommended to us was in Vendée. We wanted to do with local space. We found one in Nevers”, explains a dentist.

Larger and more accessible

With this project, the current dental office will go from 140 m2 “biscornus” to 200 m2 on one level. Another interest of dentists, the ecological aspect. “We will have solar panels. We are not ecology enthusiasts, but when we can do something positive, we do it,” slips the dentist.

premium From sea to land, they build container houses in Nièvre

The office should open its doors in October while no containers have yet arrived on the site. “It’s a special kind of gymnastics, we think about the whole project beforehand.”

In terms of cost, the price advantage put forward by the company is not found in this project. “It’s not cheaper, nor more expensive. It would certainly be a house, but here, it’s to accommodate the public. With all the standards, we are generally on the same price as a classic construction”, explains the dentist. Unlike the other office, parking spaces will be available and some will be reserved for people with reduced mobility.

The office will be located rue André-Lhote in Nevers.
