According to Le Parisien, the drama unfolded in two stages. That afternoon, a first altercation broke out between Matisse Marchais and RM. The first allegedly slapped the second and uttered racist insults, according to certain versions which have yet to be verified. In any case, RM would have come back for revenge later, dropped off by car… by his own mother. Which would have slapped Matisse when RM had just inflicted several stab wounds on him! She and her son are currently explaining themselves to the investigating judge.
Christophe Marchais, Matisse’s father, is devastated. This renowned restaurateur, who has been running the “Jeux 2 Goûts” establishment in Châteauroux for fifteen years, has received a wave of support since Saturday. But compassion is not enough.
