Here is the list of the next blood donation locations, organized in May 2024 by the French Blood Establishment (EFS), in Eure-et-Loir.
In France, 1 million people are saved each year by donating blood. 10,000 donations are needed per day to meet the needs for emergency relief, surgical interventions, for patients with blood diseases or cancer. In Eure-et-Loir, monthly needs are around 900 to 1,000 bags.
Donating blood is simple, you just need to go to a collection point for an hour. The collection days in Eure-et-Loir are all the more important as the French Blood Establishment has no longer had, for several years, in the department, a fixed site where it is possible to donate blood, or even take plasma and platelet samples.
