WWE/Netflix partnership: actors in the ring and wrestlers in the series?

The arrival of WWE on Netflix represents enormous potential, whether in terms of audiences or creativity, but not only that! The marriage between the two giants could also open the door to the involvement of actors from Netflix films/series in the WWE universe and the integration of wrestlers in certain Netflix programs. So to put it more simply, Are we about to see Seth Rollins in Squid Game and the rapper Thanos at the opening of RAW? Could we also see new influencers slash actors launching a wrestling career, like Logan Paul?

LA Knight was visiting Radio Times and he commented on this possibility:

“Maybe. The only problem with that is that being a wrestler requires a lot of commitment. It’s not easy being a wrestler, it’s not for everyone, and I think that unfortunately sometimes people feel like it’s accessible. One of the few who has excelled in this field is Logan Paul. But for most people, it’s really complicated. Especially for the body, and we’re just talking about the fact that you travel a lot.

So with all that in mind, do I think that opens the door to opportunities for this sort of thing? Maybe. I think it gives the opportunity for crossovers, whether it’s us integrating into their universe or the other way around. But from the in-ring, who knows? Everything will depend on the involvement they are willing to put into it.

If the Logan Paul case is probably an exception, crossovers of one evening or of a storyline seem in fact easily imaginable. The next few months will tell us more.
