Lars Pedersen takes the helm of Beqom, succeeding co-founder Fabio Ronga, now chairman of the board of directors.
The French-speaking software publisher Beqom announces the appointment of Lars Pedersen to the position of CEO, effective January 8, 2025. He succeeds co-founder Fabio Ronga, who becomes chairman of the board of directors.
“After 16 years at the helm of the company, it is time for me to hand over operations to a new CEO; I am convinced that Lars is the ideal leader to lead beqom through its next phase of growth and innovation,” says Fabio Ronga.
Since its creation in 2009, Beqom has become, under the leadership of Fabio Ronga, a global player in compensation management solutions. The company is present in more than 160 countries. In 2022, investment company Sumeru acquired a majority stake in Beqom for $300 million.
Lars Pedersen brings valuable strategic and technical expertise to Beqom, the press release said. According to his LinkedIn profile, Lars Pedersen previously served as CEO of nShift, one of the leaders in Cloud Delivery Management solutions. Beqom highlights that Lars Pedersen is recognized for his ability to build high-performance teams and establish a culture of innovation. His appointment marks a new phase of expansion for the Swiss publisher, which plans to launch several product innovations to meet the dynamic needs of its global customer base.
