La Nuit des Chefs at the Tunis Opera Theater: A sound adventure from here and elsewhere


A celebration of orchestral art where the perfect fusion of instruments, the magic of the direction and the emotional force of each work made this evening an exceptional event.

The Press— The City of Culture of Tunis hosted, Saturday January 4, an exceptional concert by the Tunisian Symphony Orchestra with five renowned conductors including an Algerian guest of honor.

Fadi Ben Othman, Mohamed Makni, Shady Garfi, Mohamed Rouetbi and the Algerian conductor Lotfi Saidi coordinated musicians, styles and emotions to create unforgettable moments. A true celebration of orchestral art where the perfect fusion of instruments, the magic of the direction and the emotional force of each work transformed this evening into an exceptional event.

The Théâtre de l’Opéra, which started the musical program for the year 2025 with this initiative of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, regularly offers several concerts per season, with the collaboration of Tunisian and international artists.

The show was broadcast live on the national channel Watania 1 as well as on the Tunisian National Radio to the delight of music lovers. Mme the Minister of Cultural Affairs Amina Srarfi was present, as well as numerous personalities from the cultural field including Hafedh Makni, director of the Carthage Symphony Orchestra.
