Jake “The Snake” Roberts is now 69 years old. His age combined with a long career started in the 70s have logically weakened him and the man who was appointed advisor by the AEW at the start of 2023 is starting to accumulate health problems.
Roberts accurately summarized the latest physical problems he faced via the latest episode of his podcast The Snake Pit (available at the top of the article):
“I feel a little better. I had a scary experience last week. I was very sick and ended up in the hospital Friday night. I don’t remember anything. Really scary. The doctors are telling me have diagnosed pneumonia and it’s really not something positive for me I already have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and. catching pneumonia in these conditions is flirting with disaster.
I stayed in the hospital for 4 days and I am grateful that I was found to have other health concerns that I was not aware of. I have blood in my urine, I didn’t know that. Apparently I also have a little hemorrhage somewhere in my intestines and that’s causing my iron levels to be low. The icing on the cake: I have a heart problem. We noticed it, we took care of it and everything will be fine.”
We wish the Hall of Famer to quickly get back on top.
