Fans of The Money Heist were treated to a very nice surprise this weekend in Les Angles. The famous ski resort of the Pyrénées-Orientales welcomed Darko Peric, alias Helsinki in the famous series. A visit planned for the Serbian actor, who came to present his latest film.

The Casa de Papel in Les Angles

No, a sixth season of La Casa de Papel will not be filmed in Les Angles. But the Catalan ski resort nevertheless had a scent of Netflix, these last few days. The inhabitants of the village and the numerous skiers were able to see Darko Peric, one of the emblematic faces of the world-famous series.

The one who plays Helsinki in the gang of robbers of the National Coin and Stamp Factory was indeed passing through the Pyrénées-Orientales. And for good reason, the latter came to present the latest documentary film in which he plays the main role: Territoryfilmed in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan.

Throughout the weekend, Darko Peric explored the slopes of Les Angles and the historic establishments of the resort, from the Le Bel Angle hotel to the Chalet du Pla del mir, including the restaurant-crêperie La Grange, where The actor and his team even tasted a Savoyard fondue:

Not really incognito, Darko Peric was recognized and took many photos with fans of the series.

“Affordable and very nice”

The latter have also increased their praise for the Serbian actor, whose kindness and simplicity were emphasized. “Affordable and very nice,” comments one skier. “A great meeting,” adds another resident of Les Angles:

Also nicknamed “the nicest robber”despite its tough face in the series, Helsinki offered a very nice spotlight to the Angles station, which has also just completed an excellent Christmas vacation.
