The Golden Globes ceremony will be held on the night of Sunday January 5 to Monday January 6, in Los Angeles (United States). To kick off the award ceremonies for the film and television industry, Emilia Perez by Jacques Audiard is the big favorite.

With ten nominations, the musical takes the lead. Already awarded at the Film Festival with the Jury Prize and the Female Actor Prize for all the actresses, Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofía Gascón, Selena Gomez and Adriana Paz, Jacques Audiard’s film can continue its raid.

Coralie Fargeat has five nominations for The Substanceanother phenomenon of the last Cannes Film Festival. Among the main competitors, French directors face Anoralast Palme d’Or, Wickedend-of-year commercial hit, but also The Brutalist et Conclave.

On the series side, no favorite really stands out. The Bear et Only Murders in the Building are in the lead with four nominations. For the “dramas”, Shōgun is one step ahead of Slow Horses et Mr. & Mrs. Smithwith these four nominations against three.

Many Hollywood stars will be on stage at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. Alongside Nikki Glaser, first woman to present the Golden Globes alonethe main stars will be Andrew Garfield, Margaret Qualley, Demi Moore and Anya Taylor-Joy.
