Cannes 2025 | TALENT Tout COURT at the Short Film Corner

Telefilm Canada is currently accepting submissions for the 15th edition of the program CANADA: SHORT TALENTin Cannes, a commercial showcase presented at Short Film Corner 2025 .
Simple talentis a Telefilm Canada initiative that presents a selection of new Canadian short films to international markets. The selected films will be screened at the Short Film Corner, a component of the Cannes Film Market which takes place in parallel with the Cannes Film Festival.
This showcase aims to increase the visibility of new Canadian short films and promote talent to industry delegates registered in international markets, including buyers and festival programmers.
The selected films will benefit from a promotional campaign developed by Telefilm Canada to ensure their visibility. Under the name “Canada: Not Short on Talent”, your film will be highlighted in the Short Film Corner catalog, as well as on the Cannes Court Métrage VideoLibrary. As well as other benefits.
If your film is selected, you will have access to training developed by the Short Film Corner and specifically dedicated to our cohort. Thanks to the 2 accreditations offered to your team, you will also have access toshort market programmingand activities such as screenings, workshops, conferences and more.
Upon availability of funds, a travel grant will be offered to teams participating in the Talent Tout Court 2025 program to cover part of their travel costs.
