The 2025 TV program will include major new fiction. On the series side, three big new releases are arriving next week, in addition to three new seasons of renowned sagas!
Every year, television channels compete in their imagination to offer new programs and attract new audiences. This is particularly true for the brand new series, which are flooding into the calendar by the dozen, which only has 12 months. The year 2025 will be no exception to the rule since in less than a week, between January 6 and 11, there are already three new series on the main TV program channels as well as three new seasons and new episodes of series to success. Ericanew series inspired by a chilling thriller on TF1
Erica is a mini-series with Julie de Bona and Grégory Fitoussi in the main roles, which adapts one of the thrillers from the cold by Swedish Camilla Läckberg. It tells the story of a 41-year-old writer, returning to her hometown to empty the house of her deceased parents. She then discovers the lifeless body of Alexandra, her best childhood friend, with her veins cut. Convinced that it is not a suicide, Erica launches into an investigation where past and present intertwine… Two new episodes Monday January 6, at 9:10 p.m., on TF1.
Shoresthe maritime and strange bet of France 2
Shores comes directly to compete with the new TF1 series from this Monday. It is also a mini-series with Fleur Geffrier, Guillaume Labbé and Thierry Godard. Following the inexplicable sinking of a trawler and its fishermen who remain untraceable, an oceanographer is sent by IFREMER on a mission to Fécamp, her hometown, which she left a few years earlier following of a family drama. As Abigail’s research progresses, new mysterious phenomena occur at sea and Abigail will suspect a mysterious underwater presence… Two new episodes Monday January 6, at 9:05 p.m., on France 2.
Grilled chickensreturn of the broken arm brigade on France 3
It’s a return this time, but it was expected. France 3 broadcasts a third episode of Grilled chickens“The secrets of the hotel”. This collection, started in 2022 with Barbara Cabrita and Hubert Delattre, has only two episodes at this stage. A new one arrives, still inspired by the literary saga of the writer Sophie Hénaff. It is therefore the return of Commander Anne Capestan to the 4th brigade, a brigade of the judicial police of Lyon, then of Lille, where only alcoholic, depressed and maladjusted police officers are assigned… A new episode Tuesday 7 January, at 9:05 p.m., on France 3.
Elsbetha spin-off of The Good Wife on TF1
This week, TF1 is also launching a spin-off of one of the biggest series successes of recent years. A derivative of The Good Wife (2009-2016) et The Good Fight (2017-2022) by Robert and Michelle King, titled Elsbeth. It follows the journey of lawyer Elsbeth Tascioni, after her successful career in Chicago. Unconventional, she uses her unique point of view to corner criminals alongside the New York police. Two new episodes Wednesday 8 January 2025, at 9:10 p.m. on TF1.
PandaJulien Doré puts his floral shirt back on TF1
It’s already time for season 2 of the series Pandalaunched with great fanfare by TF1 last year, with Julien Doré in the lead role. The very very cool cop, supported by his teammate Lola (Ophélia Kolb), will still have to solve cases as mysterious as they are unexpected, in particular that of a former swimmer who became a “mermaid”… Two new episodes Thursday 9 January 2025, at 9:10 p.m., on TF1.
Caesar Wagner have a fun vacation in Alsace on France 2
France 2 is also relaunching its series with Gil Alma, distilled with a sense of economy, with just two episodes each semester. In this new episode entitled “The reasons for the Koehler” (you will appreciate the wine pun), the hypochondriac cop is on vacation in Alsace with his acolytes and decides to pass the time there by investigating the death of a great oenologist during the festival of the great wines of Alsace, within the walls of the Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg. A new episode Friday the 10th January, at 9:05 p.m., on France 2.
