After only two editions, the show “Gladiators” was canceled by TF1 due to lack of audience.
It’s a flop for TF1’s “Gladiators”. The channel announced the cancellation of the show on Saturday January 4, according to Le Parisien.
And for good reason, less than a million viewers gathered the day before, Friday January 3, to watch the second number of the program where “ordinary heroes” compete against “extraordinary athletes”.

TF1 found itself relayed in fifth position in audiences, behind France 2, France 3, M6 and Canal +.

The second part even lost more than 500,000 fans of muscles and sporting events compared to the first.

“I don’t understand why they messed up at this point. The show is really rubbish,” says a producer broadcaster among our colleagues. From January 10, the show will be replaced by a show by ventriloquist Jeff Panacloc then by “Touristes”, Arthur’s show on January 17.
