The Polyèdre is offering a photo competition on the theme “Bazas through your eyes”. In partnership with the Sauboua bakery, the winners will see their photo printed on beans in January 2026.
In partnership with the primary school, reflection sessions on the rational use of screens are offered. Wednesday January 8 at 10:30 a.m., the heroes of these tales give 1,001 ideas for having fun other than with a screen. Friday January 10 at 5 p.m., with “Homemade Cinema”, musical instruments and other crazy objects will compose a live image, sound and vibrant projection. Sophie Vialettes and Thomas Skrobek will be in residence at the Polyèdre for a week to begin writing their next medium-length film “Laisse Béton”. The opportunity to discuss the state of the world and discuss the impact of screens on our perceptions.
Tame the screens
Wednesday January 15, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., we will meet around oversized games. Giant dominoes, Cache-noisette (logic game), Hares and foxes: a time conducive to intergenerational meetings where adults, grandchildren and elderly people can play and exchange.
Friday January 17 at 6 p.m., the media library team is teaming up with Natalia Jagiello from Comptoir des Seeds de Bazas to calmly navigate the digital age with children. These screens captivate… but how can you tame them as a family? On the program, keys to understanding the digital world of children, practical advice for a balanced use of screens while having fun with a collaborative game. Parents and children, together, will have to answer questions, take on challenges and find solutions to play with screens and strengthen bonds. A unique, fun moment to learn, have fun and gain greater insight into the challenges of digital parenting.
