Bellefont-La Rauze. The musical evening took to the Clef des Champs

Saturday, December 21, at 6:30 p.m., the last musical evening took place with the La Clef des champs orchestra, in the church of Valroufié, commune of Bellefont-la-Rauze. The evening was pleasant with this symphony orchestra coming to meet its audience.

A packed church was able to appreciate these European musicians, most of them from the ranks of the Student Symphony Orchestra (Oset), founded in 2019. The tenor Alexis Garcia was accompanied on the flutes by Caroline Kempf and Cécile Médard, Victor Cazal on the clarinet, Anne-Laure Bureau on bassoon, Guillaume Léonard on trumpet, violins Amaury Bargainet and Ana Bolivar Rastrelli, Anaïs Hiard-Boussac, Marlise Eskil as well as Manon Loze, Suzie-Lou Raynaud, Fannie Porte and Antoine Fages, on viola Laurent Henry and Alice Peyraud, Boyann Triboulin and Chloë Palerm on cello, and finally Joséphine Héau on double bass.

This recital began with an opera buffa of “La Pietra del Paragone” by Rossini, “The Messiah” by Handel. Then it was a Bach concerto performed on the flute. The chant “Silent night, holy night” resonated in the church choir. Then the orchestra performed the Prelude of Cavalleria rusticana by the Italian Pietro Mascagni, before continuing with Mozart’s Symphony No. 25, the Morgen by Richard Strauss, a concerto for two violins by Vivaldi, then the highly anticipated ” Midnight, Christians” by Adolphe Adam. Finally, Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique closed the concert part.

At the end, a little friendly moment between spectators and musicians was offered by the Mémoires de pierre association.
