Most beautiful market in France: discover the ranking of this famous market in the Pyrénées-Orientales

No victory for Ceret and the Eastern Pyrenees. The famous Vallespir market did not win the competition “Most beautiful market in France 2024”organized by TF1. The name of the winner was announced live, this Thursday, June 27, in Marie-Sophie Lacarrau’s 1 p.m. news.

The Céret market ranks fifth

This year, the title goes to Niort Market Halls, in Poitou-Charentes, in front of the Audruicq market (Nord-Pas-de-Calais) and the Louhans market (Bourgogne-Franche-Comté). For its part, the Céret market and its colorful stalls still managed to stand out, among the 8 million votes recorded this year.

For all that first participation, the Catalan market actually ends at the fifth place of the competition. “A huge thank you to all those who voted daily throughout this long competition. For many weeks, the Céret market has been flying the colors of the Languedoc-Roussillon region in this competition for the Most Beautiful Market in France 2024, which included no less than 219 participating markets.
