Patrick has depression

In the early morning, Babeth meets her husband Patrick for breakfast. The latter confides to him that he is in the process of finding out about the price of the funeral. He asks his wife if she prefers to be cremated or buried. Babeth finds this discussion too gloomy and refuses to respond.

Léa arrives in turn, and defends Patrick. Indeed, she finds it important to plan for this kind of thing, even if it is not easy. As Babeth leaves the table, her daughter sits next to Patrick to look at the different coffin designs.

During her break, Babeth receives a funeral arrangement from her husband. She is worried about him because he is going through a dark time. She therefore asks Mehdi, the psychologist, for advice. He tries to reassure her by telling her: “We all have our own way of facing our fears.”

Back home, Babeth discovers Patrick sorting the medications. She informs him that his mother is looking after Raphaël this evening, because she plans to take him to a salsa bar. But Patrick is not motivated. He prefers to stay under the covers watching a movie or going to a restaurant.

As a result, Babeth warns her husband: “Stop playing grandpas.” So she asks her mother to go dancing with her. Will Patrick overcome his depression?

Steve disappeared

At the Mistral, Steve presents his Bibac startup to Ariane. At the same time, Mirta arrives and asks the young man for his opinion on buying a television. Once the model is chosen, Steve finalizes the payment via the Bibac application, but the payment fails. Chilled by this bug, Ariane leaves the table. For his part, Steve is worried. He opens his computer and tries to solve the problem.

A few minutes later, Nisma meets Steve in the streets of Marseille. The young man looks in a hurry and is holding a large bag in his hand. Nisma asks him what’s going on, but he refuses to tell her more, and gets into a vehicle.

Back at the Massalia residence, Nisma tries to contact Steve, but he does not answer the call. Mirta is also worried. And for good reason, no more customers can connect to the Bibac account. An idea crosses Mirta’s mind. She asks Nisma: “Steve wouldn’t dare scam us?”

Pascal wins Jennifer’s trust

Following the burglary the day before, a search takes place at Samuel’s house. Ariane looks very evilly at Jennifer. Is she suspecting her of having stolen the gun? Once the police leave, Jennifer tries to prove her innocence to her boyfriend, but he won’t listen.

Samuel said to him: “If you continue to lie to me, I won’t be able to believe you anymore.” He shows her the receipt on which it says “peanut butter”. Jennifer is stunned, because she knows she didn’t buy this food. Samuel looks her straight in the eyes and says: “You’re like a stranger, I don’t know who you actually are”. Hurt by these words, Jennifer leaves the home in tears.

She arrives at the office more than forty minutes late. Gabriel warns her: “You accumulate delays, you make mistakes, what’s going on?”. He advises her to make an appointment with the psychologist and to get back on track very quickly.

Suddenly, Pascal arrives. He offers her a cappuccino and a chocolate bar to cheer her up. Jennifer apologizes for wrongly accusing him. She tells him that he is the only one who is nice to her, then hugs him.

At lunchtime, Jennifer and Pascal meet on the beach. The young woman asks her colleague: “Everyone turns their back on me, but not you. Why are you doing this?” Pascal replies that he doesn’t like seeing people suffer.

He takes the opportunity to explain to her that the answer to these questions may lie deep in his heart. He tells her that her problems are probably linked to an older trauma that she has buried deep inside. Jennifer is troubled by her colleague’s words: “I don’t want to think about that.”then leaves.

At the bar-restaurant Le Mistral, Samuel informs Gabriel and Thomas that he trusts Jennifer. They are now almost certain that she is going through a psychotic episode. So, Riva offers to go talk to the young woman.

At the same time, at the doctor’s office, Jennifer discovers Samuel’s pistol in her handbag. Suddenly, the door opens and Jennifer aims her gun at the entrance. These are Samuel and Gabriel…
