“Le p’tit truc en plus” by Artus continues its momentum and becomes the 2nd biggest French success of its last 10 years in Romandy, behind “Qu’est-ce qu’on a fait au Bon Dieu?” the popular and colorful comedy with Christian Clavier which attracted 198,638 Romandes and Romands in 2014. Since its release on May 1 and until Monday June 18, Artus’ film attracted 123,432 spectators in theaters obscure.

Shot with around ten actors with mental disabilities, the film climbed the ladder of success upon its release in France, reaching a million fewer admissions by the end of the first week. On the day of its release, May 1, the film even had the best start of the year, beating blockbusters like “Dune, Second Part,” released in February in twice as many theaters, reported the French daily “Le Figaro. Three days ago, the film crossed the 7 million spectator mark among our neighbors. A success celebrated on Instagram by its director.
