Clint Eastwood releases new film in theaters

Since October 30, it has been possible to go to the cinema to discover Clint Eastwood's latest film: Juror #2. As the name suggests, it is a trial film that tells the story of Justin Kemp (Nicholas Hoult), a simple citizen called to exercise his duty by being a juror for a trial. The latter concerns a high-profile murder, and Justin Kemp will gradually realize that he himself may be behind the crime. The whole dilemma will then be to know whether he should protect himself or give himself up, without even being completely certain that he is indeed the murderer.
Critics love Juror #2, it could well be one of the best films of the year
By releasing a film at 94, we can imagine thatthis is certainly the very last film that Clint Eastwood will direct in his life. The release of Juror No. 2 is therefore an event in itself, and now that it is available in cinemas, it is time to find out what the American press thought of it. No doubt if we trust the notes aggregator Rotten Tomatoes : Juror No. 2 is a real gem. With a score of 96% at the time of writing, it is one of the best films of the year.
Among the reviews, we can for example read that the film is a “thought-provoking thriller” and that the performance of the actors is simply memorable. Joey Magidson of Awards Radar even believes that “Juror #2 is the best Clint Eastwood film in several years, by far.” Some journalists still note some flaws, particularly at the end.
