The Foyer Rural Theater section of Quint-Fonsegrives organizes theater workshops at the Patrick Pépi complex led by professional actors and culminating in shows at the end of the year.

Participants are supervised in their work of improvisation and discovery of stage expression, promoting self-confidence and their ability to express themselves in public.

The section was created in 2000, the adult course has existed since 2008-2009.

This year 2023-2024, the section has 52 members: 29 children, aged at least 7 years old, 9 teenage girls and 14 adults.

Nicolas runs the adult workshop every Monday from 8 to 10:30 p.m.

Sandrine runs a workshop for a group of children every Wednesday from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Every Wednesday, Christophe leads workshops for another group of children (from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.), the pre-teen group (from 3:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.) and the adolescent group (from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. h 30).

The first performances will be given by the teenagers tomorrow, Saturday June 1 at 8:30 p.m. and Sunday June 2 at 6 p.m. with the play Guilty (the Karim Bourdon affair), directed by Christophe Blanchet.

The three groups of children will also perform on Sunday, June 2 at 2:30 p.m.

These shows will take place in the Patrick Pépi hall with free entry and participation.

The adult group will perform on Thursday June 13, Saturday 15 and Sunday June 16 at 8 p.m. in the same venue.

With a comedy in 4 acts full of twists and turns and humor La Vie de Château, directed by Nicolas Mouton.

Contribution to costs €7 (children only pay from 15 years old).

Managers, budding actors and professionals await large audiences at their performances.
