Another Netflix series will never see a second season. The streaming giant has in fact not chosen to renew its series “Kaos”, which starred actor Jeff Goldblum in the main role.
Inspired by Greek mythology, the series presented itself as a modern adaptation of classics of ancient literature. It received a rather warm reception from the public, with an average rating of 7.5/10 on IMDB. However, a positive reception is not enough to justify a second season. With only 14.9 million views in the first month, Kaos hasn’t found huge success on the streaming platform. If the series has entered the weekly top 10 of the most popular films & series several times, it does not seem to have achieved its objectives.
The ax therefore falls just one month after its broadcast. For fans, this represents a cruel disappointment, especially since the show ends on a huge cliffhanger.
