Ten years after a reveal Broken Land filmed on the Mexican border, the duo of filmmakers from Lake Geneva formed by Stéphanie Barbey and Luc Peter persisted and signed with Dreamers, which returns to this same problem from another angle. This time, we are in Chicago with Carlos, 38 years old, one of these young Mexicans who grew up in the United States, brought by their parents, and who is prevented by a law from accessing American citizenship. There are an estimated 2.5 million living like this, barely tolerated and under the constant threat of deportation at the slightest misstep that would bring them to the attention of the authorities.
