A guest of honor

This year, the guest of honor will be Gilles Lemarchand. Born in 1954 in Flers, this self-taught figurative painter lives in La Lande-Patry. He has been practicing his art since 1983.

It was by observing a painter in Montmartre that I was able to glimpse the possibilities offered by painting with a knife. Often on the subject, I look for light and I like to paint my region, marshes and water landscapes.
