It was raining heavily in Basse-Goulaine, near Nantes, this Wednesday evening: a time to warm up the neurons, among artists, booksellers, municipal officials and collaborators gathered for the completion of the work in the 231st Espace Cultural Leclerc! ????
Music, noise but no alcohol to inaugurate the last “baby” of this 3rd generation of entrepreneurs (today Bérengère and Pierre, after Joseph and Jeanne, Philippe and Marie-Laure), all passionate about life cultural, and insisting that it is… “essential”. ????????
The place? A bookstore with more than 100,000 book references, a vinyl corner, DVDs, video games… A café corner to offer visitors something to nourish their minds, students a calm and stimulating working environment… And a open stage which will serve as a springboard for the artists of tomorrow.
Finally, an art gallery. ???????????? Our colleagues in the Nantes region have always been pioneers and constant in realizing the brand’s cultural promises: we recall the Culturissimo festival, active support for the crazy Nantes day (an event that promotes classical music) and a real presence in schools. Great!! ????
