68 migrants rescued
This Friday January 17around sixty migrants attempted the crossing aboard a makeshift boat which quickly broke down.

The CROSS Gris-Nez intervened in the middle of the afternoon by engaging a French customs coast guard patrol boat DFP1 called Jacques Oudart Fourmentin (JOF).
Arriving in the area, the JOF used two semi-rigid boats to come into contact with the boat. 68 people were rescued and dropped off in Calais where they were taken care of.
