A short year and then it’s gone. Arriving last winter at the Spanish team Movistar, Rémi Cavagna is already on his way out. Indeed, according to information from the Spanish daily As the chrono specialist will terminate his contract which linked him to the Iberian team for three seasons (until 2026).
No wins this season
The 29-year-old rider has not had any victories this season and has failed to live up to expectations. He has never even reached the top 10 of a race or stage in the Movistar jersey.
The “Clermont TGV” particularly experienced adaptation problems due to the language barrier. His next destination should not pose any problems for him since Rémi Cavagna should sign up with Groupama-FDJ according to the Spanish newspaper.
