The queen of Telenet Super prestige struck again during the third round organized this Monday on the Niel circuit, in Belgium. As in the last two editions of this event also called Jaarmarktcross, Ceylin Del Carmen Alvarado won at the end of the five laps to complete. After two weeks and three races without a victory, the 26-year-old Dutchwoman proved untouchable and very easily found her way back to success. The team runner Fenix-Deceuninck took off from the first lap of the circuit before irremediably widening the gap with each pass over the line. At the finish, after having completely cut his effort in the final lap, Alvarado wins her 4th bouquet of the winter 21 seconds ahead of her compatriot Lucinda Brand (Baloise Trek Lions).

The experienced Dutch champion delivered a very good finish to win her duel with Sara Casasola (Crelan – Corendon), the Italian was even surprised and knocked off the podium in the final straight by her teammate Marion Norbert Riberollethe Belgian making a superb comeback in the finale. A quartet which rode alone during the race, since the top 5 is completed by the Batavian Annemarie Worst (Cyclocross Reds) more than a minute behind the winner of the day.
