As part of European Waste Reduction Week, Limoges Métropole and its partners are organizing the 3rd edition of the “Zero Waste Village”, Saturday November 16, Place Haute-Vienne in Limoges, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Users will be able to discover numerous information stands and activities: learn how to sort and compost bio-waste and choose the solution best suited to their household (on presentation of an identity document and proof of address to leave with the necessary equipment), test the electric branch shredders, discover the “Responsible Consumption” stand to find out about sorting instructions, financial aid to reduce waste, get advice on fighting against food waste and discover the layers washable thanks to the provision of a discovery kit (on presentation of a birth certificate less than six months old), repair bicycles, small electrical and electronic devices, textiles and wooden objects, learn the different gestures and actions to adopt to move towards zero waste with the Zéro Waste 87 association, discover the Mon Service Déchets application, test your knowledge of waste sorting with Récréasciences, participate in an escape game and an “object diversion” activity.
Grinding
In addition, grinding demonstrations will take place Monday November 18 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Rilhac-Rancon recycling center, Tuesday November 19 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Saint-Just-le-Martel recycling center and 14 to 5 p.m. at the Eyjeaux recycling center, Wednesday November 20 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Saint-Gence recycling center and on Friday, November 22 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Kennedy recycling center in Limoges and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Couzeix recycling center.
