This Monday, November 11 at 9:05 p.m. on France 2, you will be able to discover the first episode of the new season 4 of invisible. Quentin Faure reveals behind the scenes of his physical transformation for the return of his character.

The invisibles : “I wanted Ben to look a bit like a beaten dog“, Quentin Faure explains the underside of his transformation

Télé-Loisirs: What state does Ben return to after his six months of convalescence?
Quentin Faure
: He's coming back in bad shape, to put it mildly. He is injured and suffers from post-traumatic syndrome. In the first episodes, he is very diminished and very psychologically affected.

He is also very changed physically…
I had talked about it very early on with the director Chris Briant and we agreed on the fact that Ben needed to have a radical change. I wanted him to look a bit like a beaten dog, he neglects himself, lets his hair and beard grow. I wanted to have “a bad face”, I found that very important. The director also wanted me to lose weight, I succeeded with more or less success (He laughs.). I must have lost about 5 kilos. I worked a lot to erase the exuberant side that Ben could have sometimes in previous seasons where he was a bit of a big mouth. There he is a shadow of himself on every level.

The invisibles : “Ben sees Darius as a big brother“, explains Quentin Faure

How was this convalescence experienced by his companions Duchess, Marie-Jo and Darius?
We told each other that during the six months of his convalescence, friends came to see him in the hospital. Duchess really helped Ben, she accompanied his little boy to school even though he wasn't her own son. She is often at his house to run errands or help him cook. They each took turns taking care of Ben until the day Darius decided to reinstate him. With Marie-Jo, Ben almost has a filial relationship, as if he were his kid. Especially since she lost her son in a plane crash. Ben behaves with Darius like I behaved with Guillaume Cramoisan. During the four seasons, I always saw him as a big brother. Ben sees Darius as a big brother who got him out of trouble back in the day and he is forever grateful.
