As a preamble to the 64th Grand Prix of Wallonia competed in the 3rd edition of its female version entitled Saint Feuillien Grand Prix of Wallonia. And after the Belgian Julie De Wilde in 2022 and the Polish Marta Lach in 2023, it’s the Dutch Karlijn Swinkels who raised his arms at the top of the Citadel of Namur! Having sprinted a group of about twenty runners, the member of the formation UAE Team ADQ was able to resist the Italian champion, Elisa Longo Borghini (Lidl-Trek), who had to settle for second place.

Maëva Squiban and Evita Muzic are invited into the top 10 of this 3rd edition

The podium was completed by another Dutchwoman, Anouska Koster (Uno-X Mobility), whileAmber Kraak (Netherlands, FDJ-SUEZ) and Justine Ghekiere (Belgium, AG Insurance-Soudal Team) finished fourth and fifth respectively. Four French women came in for the win, and it was Maëva Squiban (Arkéa-B&B Hotels) which finished highest, in seventh place, two ranks ahead of Evita Music (FDJ-SUEZ, 9th). Victory Berteau And Julie Begothe two runners of the Cofidis Women Teamfinished a little further behind (11th for Berteau and 16th for Bego).
