On the occasion of the Champions Trophy, which will be held in Doha this Sunday January 5, 2025, Paris Saint-Germain is offering a jersey marked by a first: the use of Arabic writing for the flocking of the players. This innovation is part of a new collaboration with the artist Fatma Al Sharshani, a figure in contemporary Arab art, already in partnership with the Parisian club since March 2023.
A unique flocking created by Fatma Al Sharshani
The design of the jersey, created by Fatma Al Sharshani, emphasizes visual elements that celebrate Arab identity and cultural heritage, particularly through Arabic writing, adding a unique artistic dimension to the traditional Parisian jersey. Paris SG players will wear this unique printing during their match against AS Monaco on January 5 in Doha to try to win a first trophy of the season.
Five PSG players ambassadors of this jersey
The jersey will not only be worn by the players during the match. It will also be available for sale, but exclusively. Five Paris SG players are the ambassadors of this edition: Achraf Hakimi, Ousmane Dembélé, Bradley Barcola, Joao Neves and Vitinha. Supporters will be able to purchase these jerseys in official PSG stores in Doha and on the online platform from this Friday, January 3.
