After 32 years at the head of the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde (TNM), the artistic and general director of the theater, Lorraine Pintal, is preparing her transition before her retirement, scheduled for August 30. I leave room for rising youth
, she says. This well-known theater figure is leaving the management of the establishment in a financially difficult context for this art form, with the public being less present since the COVID-19 pandemic.
She is still thinking about entering politics, without confirming whether she has been approached by a party.
