New DPE assessment for small areas

The energy performance diagnosis (DPE), which evaluates the energy performance of a property by classifying it from “A” to “G”, is evolving. And it is small housing, with a surface area of ​​less than or equal to 40 m², which – theoretically – emerges as winners. The DPE thresholds are becoming fairer for the latter, until now ranked lower than the average.

Increase in natural gas distribution tariff

Gas prices are increasing again this summer, by 11.7% on average for millions of households. The amount of the increase was recorded by the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), due to the increase in network maintenance costs.

Online tax correction service

At the end of July, the online declaration correction service opens. As of July 31, you will be able to modify, in the event of an oversight or error when receiving your tax notice received, the items that you declared in the spring on your 2024 tax return. This service will be open until December 4, 2024 inclusive.

A new savings plan for young people

The Future Climate Savings Plan (PEAC) is making its appearance this summer in the landscape of French savings. Reserved for those under 21, it intends to direct their savings towards the ecological transition. Established by the law relating to green industry of October 23, 2023, the PEAC becomes available from July 1. Note that the PEAC is capped at 22,950 euros.

Mobility payment

The scope and rate of the mobility payment, a contribution due by employers who hire more than 10 employees and used to finance public transport, are evolving. The rate of this payment is reassessed twice a year.
