GRégory Lemarchal left us on April 30, 2007, but his memory is still vivid among his fans, his friends and his comrades of the Star Academy. And it is one of them, Mathieu Johann, who twenty years later offers the public a unique memory.
On December 31, the competitor to the Star Ac 2004eliminated in the semi-final, brought out a little gem from his archives: a note written by the hand of Grégory Lemarchal, on Christmas Eve. “Twenty years ago, we wrote each other little notes for our Christmas evening at the Château de Dammarie, our last moments as a foursome or almost,” wrote Mathieu Johann on Instagram alongside the photo of the handwritten messages exchanged at this occasion.

“To my Mathieu, I am so happy to have met you! You are a GREAT guy and I have immense respect for you… for who you are,” wrote Grégory Lemarchal. The young singer, who was fighting against cystic fibrosis which would finally prevail three years later due to the lack of a lung transplant, bet on the future: “I hope with all my heart to see you again outside… I I’m even sure! » He added, moved: “A big thank you also for all the kindness you can show me, it means a lot to me. I wish you all the happiness and success for the future. »
