Growing up, William and Harry had the same culinary tastes as most British children. Darren McGrady, the personal chef to England’s Queen Elizabeth II, Diana and Princes William and Harry for 15 years, made a very adorable revelation. He said the likes of the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex when they were still children are surprisingly ordinary.
The royal family’s personal chef has revealed that growing up, England’s King Charles III and Princess Diana’s boys enjoyed traditional English cuisine. “They may be royal children, but they still have children’s palaces“, Darren McGrady revealed to the magazine Hello!.

From favorite traditional meals For young Princes William and Harry, there was cottage pie – a kind of meat and pea pie – poached chicken and rice and fish cakes. Darren McGrady says the Prince of Wales, 42, and the Duke of Sussex, 39, had everything a normal British child would have.
The only difference is that they had a chef who prepared them for them. Darren McGrady then revealed that the young princes loved to eat dishes containing banana. “They loved comfort food. They liked banana flan, anything with banana, banana ice cream“, revealed the royal chef.
