Romain and Camille could have gotten married in Married at first sight 2024, but the candidate canceled everything at the last minute because she met another man. “What happened was I met someone. I tried to put that aside because I was invested in this experience and I asked myself a lot of questions because I knew that this man corresponded to a lot of things that I like. I very quickly understood that this would be a person with whom things could seriously work.“, she explained.
Romain didn’t give up and asked production to find someone else for him. But that’s what we saw on the screen. Indeed, this Tuesday, June 25, 2024, he explained, in a video posted on Instagram with Camille, that it would in fact be the production itself that asked him to continue the experience.

“The initiative does not come from me. I wasn’t forced to do anything, but when I learned that you were withdrawing and I saw your little video, the production clearly suggested that I continue. So I thought about it a little and I accepted. And there, they told me that I had to make a short video so that the viewers would understand and that there would be a link, because it was not possible to say that it was the production which encouraged to continue“, he assured.
In the process, Camille returned to their famous reunion which we were able to discover in episode 14, broadcast this Monday, June 24 on M6.
“Our meeting was orchestrated because the production knew that I was in a relationship, and they needed content for the episode ‘What happened to them?’. They wanted to film my relationship, my blended family, etc.“, she explained in the video, before saying more in the story: “I did not have the choice ! Well, yes, the first thing that was suggested to me (to us) was to do the ‘What happened to them?’ with my darling, but we didn’t want to for several reasons, so I actually had no choice (to meet Romain, editor’s note) And again, I was offered to meet Romain with my darling, always more…“
We must not forget that Married at first sight is a TV show, entertainment… It is therefore completely normal for production to intervene from time to time in order to guarantee viewers’ understanding and maintain their interest in the program.
