Dany Turcotte presents his autobiography, entitled D. Turcotte and sonsin which he talks about himself both personally and professionally. The comedian and host talks in particular about his relationship with his parents, with a father struggling with alcoholism for many years and the loss of his business. From the social fall of his family to the discovery of improv through his friendship with the comedian Dominique Lévesque and the troupe Le Groupe Sangre, he confides like never before.
Dany Turcotte talks about his 17 years on the show Everyone is talking about it. He points out that most have been exceptional and fabulous, although the last two have been more difficult, as he explains.
« He’s like a magician. Humor, you don’t have to see it coming, and there, I’ve been making jokes for 17 years on Tout le monde en talk, so people saw them coming. »
Dany Turcotte also recounts with great humor his friendship with Stanley Péan, whom he knew at school and with whom he had a friendly competition to be class president and their act to pass themselves off as… Siamese brothers.
