The Quebec Bridge will be closed again in both directions starting Friday.
This additional closure is planned for the interval from Friday evening, October 11 to Monday noon, October 14, the Thanksgiving holiday.
A long-term closure of Avenue des Hôtels will also be in effect, between Boulevard Champlain and Chemin Saint-Louis, from October 15 until fall 2025.
However, access will be maintained to access the Aquarium du Québec and businesses.
These obstacles are necessary in order to continue the reconstruction work on the roadway of Route 175 and the redevelopment of Avenue des Hôtels into an urban boulevard, as part of the project to reconstruct the interchanges north of the Pierre-Laporte and Quebec bridges. .
For the Quebec Bridge, evening and weeknight closures are also planned for the interval from Monday October 14 to Thursday October 17, from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the next day northbound and 6:30 a.m. the next day southbound.
Detour routes will be marked with temporary signage. Episodes of congestion are to be expected.
Other closures of the Quebec Bridge in October and November are expected.
