While Oasis’ long-awaited reunion was announced last August, marking the end of 15 years of tension between the Gallagher brothers, Liam Gallagher recently revealed that he and Noel will avoid joint interviews to protect their relationship.

A reformation under close surveillance

This summer, the announcement of Oasis’ reunion came as a bombshell for fans of the group, who had been hoping for years to see the Gallagher brothers on stage together again. Despite their years of high-profile feuding, Liam and Noel put their differences aside to announce a series of gigs in the UK, Ireland, Australia, the US and Mexico.

However, huge demand for tickets has led to long queues online, with fans rushing to buy seats whose prices have skyrocketed under Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing policy, currently under government investigation.

Protect the relationship above all

Since the reunion announcement, fans have shared their concerns online, often in the form of humorous memes, fearing that Liam and Noel’s relationship could deteriorate again before they can take the stage together.

To prevent any potential conflict, Liam Gallagher explained on social media that he and Noel will not do joint interviews, for fear that the media will seek to reignite tensions. On X, he wrote: “We don’t want to do interviews because we’re afraid the media will ask us intrusive questions and try to undermine our relationship.”

Liam also joked that aside from fear of the media, they won’t do interviews together because they just don’t feel like it.
