Lucien Jean-Baptiste is back in the cinema. He directed the film What do we do now?which will be released in theaters on October 2, in which he plays the main role. He plays the character of Alain, who is made redundant at 58. To prove to society that he is not too old or useless, he decides to start his own business in a sector that he thinks is promising: childcare. In his project, he involves his former colleague, who has been depressed for years, and a former TV host who is trying to make a comeback in the media. It was a family tragedy that made him decide to leave his job in events to take theater classes at Cours Florent. He then began at the end of the 90s in short films, before making his first appearances in the cinema in the films From blue to America et Stupid game. His role in the sitcom Coffee Camera will open many doors for him in the industry. At the same time, he began a career in dubbing and became the French voice of Chris Rock, Will Smith and Don Cheadle. It was not until 2009 that he established himself with his first production, The First Star.
