Facing Cyril Hanouna on the set of “TPMP”, Veronique de Villèle spoke with emotion of the death of the actor as well as what she felt when she saw him on his deathbed. Grateful, she also sent a word to her three children: Anthony, Alain-Fabien and Anouchka.

Guest on the set of TPMP on September 27, 2024, Véronique de Villèle, former assistant of Alain Delon who became a close friend, spoke of the last moments of the actor who died on August 18, 2024 at the age of 89. Very moved, the one that everyone knows thanks to the show Gym Tonicrecounts how she experienced seeing him on his deathbed, a “large leather bed“whom she had known for years since he traveled to all her apartments”rue François 1er, avenue de Messine where he lived with Romy Schneider, quai Kennedy where he then lived with Mireille Darc“.
“He was sumptuously handsome on his deathbed in Douchy a few days ago. (…) It was totally overwhelming and even there he was there on his famous leather bed that I knew in all his houses (…). And there, he was in his magnificent bed but so beautiful! It shocked me“ she confided with great difficulty.
Wishing to salute the courage of her three children Alain-Fabien, Anthony and Anouchka who organized a very beautiful farewell to their dad, Véronique de Villèle continues: “I would like to greet the three children. The day of the funeral, there were very few of us, and the three of us made this grim day a joyful, family day. There was Alain Delon’s film music in the forest in Douchy in front of his chapel. Honestly, it was magical. There wasn’t a bad word said. Not a shouting match. It was managed… extraordinary! The mass booklet is the most beautiful I have ever seen. Everything was magnificent.“.

Very close to Alain Delon, she had also confided to BFMTV to have been much more than an assistant to him and Mireille Darc. “They didn’t consider me as an assistant at all but as a little sister. I had a completely incredible relationship with Alain. He was a big brother. I had messages from him every week, I attended all his shoots… I can’t explain, I’m collapsed with sadness anyway. My heart is cut in two this morning.” she confided the day after the actor’s death.
