Back on stage with the band Jonas & the Jaguar Moon, rocker Jonas Tomalty unveiled on Friday the very first extract from his new album, expected in 2025.

Directed by Dave Schiffman, collaborator of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Adele and Chris Cornell, the new track with influences 90’stitled Believeris also accompanied by a minimalist music video, directed by Chris Carpenter.

“Everyone has their struggles. The question is not whether we are going to have them, but rather how we are going to face them and how we are going to manage them,” said Jonas, about his new play that he co-wrote with Steve Nadeau and Pat Krief, by press release.

“These struggles build us, we just sometimes have to embrace them and learn from them. And, of course, believe in yourself. That’s the whole heart of the new piece because in life, you have to believe in it,” he added.

After several years of absence from the world of recording, Jonas returns to the forefront, this time with his accomplices Steve Nadeau on guitar, Francis Fugère on drums, Alex Lapointe on bass and Phil Beaudin on percussion.

Their new album is expected to contain rock influences from the 1960s and 1970s mixed with touches of RnB blues.

Believer is available now, on all digital platforms, as is its clip to watch on YouTube.
