The Casablanca Stock Exchange ended the week of June 10 to 14 on a negative note, its flagship index, the MASI, losing 0.26% to 13,162.23 points (pts).

The MASI.20, an index bringing together the 20 most liquid stocks, fell by 0.39% to 1,061.63 pts and the MASI.ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating, as published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, fell by 0.46% to 953.82 pts.

Regarding the MASI Mid and Small Cap, the thematic index which calculates the price performance of small and medium-sized companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, it improved by 0.44% to 1,222.02 pts.

On a sectoral level, the “Beverages” (-4.43%), “Telecommunications” (-2.93%) and “Holding Companies” (-2.65%) indices recorded the largest declines.

On the other hand, the “Transport services” sector recorded the strongest increase (+3.06%), ahead of “Engineering and industrial capital goods” (+2.7%) and “Real estate participation and development” (+ 2.29%).

Trade reached nearly 977.2 million dirhams (MDH), carried out mainly on the Central market and dominated by transactions on BCP (112.74 MDH), CFG Bank (108 MDH) and Attijariwafa Bank (88.5 MDH). ).

The market capitalization amounted to more than 684.5 billion dirhams (billion dirhams).

At individual values, the largest declines were posted by Société des beverages du Maroc (-5.09% to 2,330 DH), Promopharm SA (-5.08% to 934 DH), HPS (-3.23% to 539 DH). DH), Itissalat Al-Maghrib (-2.93% to 89.3 DH) and Delta Holding (-2.69% to 48.45 DH).

On the other hand, the best performances were the work Résidences Dar Saada (+9.33% to 82 DH), Zellidja SA (+5.99% to 75.36 DH), Stroc Industrie (+5.74% at 35 DH), BMCI (+5.29% at 625 DH) and Totalenergies Marketing Maroc (+4.18% at 1,370 DH).
