The author of Aveyron origin Nicolas Druart will be signing tomorrow, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Maison du livre, on the occasion of the release of his latest thriller “Sulfre”. A return to basics as he himself says, not failing to pass through Rodez for each new thriller.
“The match man, say his name three times and pray to stay alive”this is how this nurse challenges the reader, for this novel which takes place in his favorite city, Toulouse. “Captain Antoine Aubert gives no credit to this urban legend. But when he inherits the filmed murder of two teenage girls, his certainties waver. This one defies all the laws of physics: in a cabin of the Toulouse cable car, perched fifty meters above the void, the Matchman seems to appear out of nowhere.”
Awarded with Nuit blanche (grand prize for psychological suspense 2018), L’Enclave (Prix de l’embouchure 2021) and Cinabre (Harper Collins pocket prize 2023), Nicolas Druart therefore returns with a noir thriller, where he once again directs this Captain Aubert who in Cinabre, had completed a bloody investigation… in Toulouse.
