Villard. Second edition of the book fair. The Club de la Fontaine, which has 32 members, organized the second edition of its book fair on Saturday September 28. It was a good day, well attended in the multipurpose room, said president Annie Gonnot.
Thanks to donations, a large selection of books was on sale; among these thrillers, novels, children’s books, regional books, encyclopedias and old collector’s books. The books are stored in anticipation of next year.
The club is affiliated with the Fédération Générations Mouvement, formerly called the Fédération des Aînés Ruraux. The clubs are open to all, with the possibility of intergenerational participation.
The second Thursday of each month (from 2 p.m.), a games afternoon is organized in the multipurpose room to play belote or other activities. Outings and visits take place throughout the year. A meal will take place in October as well as one in December for the Christmas party.
The Club de la Fontaine recently celebrated its 40th anniversary with a meal, accompanied by entertainment, in which the president of the Fédération Générations Mouvement, Ms. Jarry, participated.
