Last Sunday in Miami, there was a complaint, emanating from the Red Bull F1 stable, against a Mercedes driver. Indeed, according to the Austrian team, George Russell would not have slowed enough under yellow flag diet, during the deployment of the virtual safety car. It was therefore the commissioners who seized the case, in order to study a case which had obviously been the subject of an investigation, during the Grand Prix.

The officials therefore observed the situation, revised the images and, finally, made a verdict. And the latter will not appeal to Christian Horner and his men since no penalty was inflicted following this investigation. In other words, no offense has been found. So much so that George Russell retains his third place. For the record, towards the end of the Grand Prix of Miami of F1, the engineer of Max Verstappen had asked him to stay under 5 seconds apart with the Mercedes. The latter hoped, in fact, that a 5 -second sanction would be imposed on the British….
