The 18th Morocco Equestrian Trophy, a celebration of the best Moroccan riders – Today Morocco

The president of the Maroc Equestre Trophy, Badr Fakir, affirmed last Thursday in Rabat that the 18th edition, scheduled for January 11 under the theme “The Gallop of the Stars… The Rings of Success,” is a celebration of the best Moroccan riders in all equestrian disciplines.

Speaking at a press conference dedicated to the presentation of this edition, Mr. Fakir indicated that it is also a tribute to the riders and horses for their performances which honor Morocco at the Arab, continental and international levels. , as well as to all the stakeholders who contribute to the development and influence of horse riding.
He stressed that the exploits achieved by Moroccan riders in the various competitions are the fruit of the hard work and efforts made by the president of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports (FRMSE), Moulay Abdellah Alaoui, who supports the achievements of all champions and offers them all the conditions to develop their performance.

Mr. Fakir, also general director of the FRMSE, noted that the Maroc Equestre Trophy will pay tribute this year, in addition to the riders who shone on the national scene, to the champions who participated in the 2024 Olympic Games, allowing thus Morocco can take part in all equestrian disciplines during the Olympic Games, namely dressage in London in 2012, show jumping in Rio in 2016, dressage and team show jumping in Tokyo in 2020 and eventing in Paris in 2024.
He noted that like previous editions, personalities from the world of art, culture and sport will take part in the awards ceremony to the winners in the different categories.
On this occasion, the president of the Maroc Equestre Trophy presented the jury of the 18th edition, chaired by the rider Nadia Doghmi and composed of Jilali Erguig, Moqaddem of a Tbourida sorba, and Samira Bennani, pioneer of motor racing at the Arab and African scale, which will decide between the 46 riders competing in ten categories.
This press conference took place in the presence of Noor Slaoui, the first rider to represent Morocco and the Arab world in the equestrian eventing competition at the Paris Olympics, and Moqaddem Charaf El Bahraoui whose sorba won the title of the 7th edition of the Grand Prix of HM King Mohammed VI of Tbourida, during the El Jadida Horse Show 2024.
