Little Lauralie will never know her mother, but she will live. This very young baby born by cesarean section was saved by teams from the University Hospital Center in Quebec. But not his mother. Aged 29, Véronique Lévesque died following a ruptured aneurysm. 35 weeks pregnant, the young woman was known in Quebec as the host of Rythme FM radio. It was his work colleagues who announced the news of his death on the airwaves, causing great emotion in Canada.

Véronique Lévesque reportedly suffered a ruptured aneurysm on April 3 after her radio show. Treated in worrying condition, the young woman spent seventeen days in a coma before passing away. Doctors were able to save her child by performing an emergency cesarean delivery.
