The National Police recently arrested two people in the Spanish province of Soria for their alleged involvement in the disappearance of a man of Cuban origin. As part of their investigation, officers used clues such as an image of Google Maps on which we can see that an individual is transporting what could be the remains of the body in the trunk of his car.

The photograph was taken by a Google Maps vehicle in the municipality of Tajuecoin Soria, which has only a few dozen inhabitants. People arrested on November 12 are a woman, current companion of the victim, and her former companion.

The man was reported missing on November 23 last year by a relative who received messages in the name of the missing man which aroused his suspicions.

The authorities found some of the mortal remains (which, in the absence of definitive identification, appear to be those of the victim) buried in the ground of a cemetery in the municipality of Andaluz, also in the province of Soria. To do this, advanced technical means had to be used, the national police said in a statement.

L’investigationWho is still in progress in order to clarify all the facts, was gathering evidence until officers were able to identify those allegedly responsible for the man’s disappearance and death.
