Israeli security services now consider an Iranian response likely following the October 26 strike, even if Tehran has not yet decided on the precise terms of its attack. According to information revealed by the N12 channel, if the decision to retaliate seems to have been made, Iran is still hesitant about the scale and timing of its operation.

Israeli analysts envisage a scenario of simultaneous attacks from several fronts, and not only from Iranian territory. Faced with this threat, Israel maintains a high level of preparation, both offensively and defensively, in close collaboration with American forces already deployed in the region.

The United States has significantly increased its military presence, deploying additional air defense batteries and combat squadrons to deal with possible drone attacks. Washington also delivered a strong message to Iran, warning that a new attack could trigger a massive response from Israel.

Matthew Miller, a spokesperson for the US State Department, said: “Our message to the Supreme Leader remains unchanged: Iran must refrain from escalation. If it chooses this path, we will support Israel's right to defend oneself.”

Israeli intelligence services anticipate that Iran could act via its Shiite militias in Iraq and Yemen. In response, the United States sent B-52 strategic bombers to the region, a move seen as a clear signal to Tehran that the aircraft were intended for offensive rather than defensive missions.

A new development was also seen in the Suez Canal, where images revealed the presence of a missile ship equipped with a previously unknown launch system, illustrating rising tensions in the region.
