Israel says it hit 140 targets in Lebanon

The Israeli army has hit 140 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon since Friday evening, it announced on Saturday. She said she did not intend to stop even though one of her raids was fatal on Friday to the leader of the Lebanese militia, Hassan Nasrallah.

Israel carried out a devastating raid on the southern suburbs of Beirut on Friday, which destroyed dozens of buildings and forced hundreds of people to flee. Several buildings have been razed while the streets are buried under rubble.

In response, Hezbollah launched around a hundred rockets towards Israel. Alarm sirens have sounded several times in the Jewish state.

According to Israeli and Palestinian sources, a rocket coming from Lebanon was intercepted over the West Bank. Israeli media report that part of a rocket exploded on a house in the Palestinian town of Huwara. No casualties have been reported so far.
